Fractional Circles
Learn fractions with fractional circles, practical Montessori material to promote understanding of fractions
33 pieces made of wood, Made in Germany
Learning to understand fractions is easiest using the example of a circle. The different sized circle segments are labeled on one side with the appropriate fraction, the decimal fraction and the appropriate percentage. The other side is blank to allow estimates. The most diverse ways of specifying fractions are compared with one another. The child automatically learns to convert fractions into decimal numbers and also to express them in percent.
