Instructions for buttonless coloured cylinders
Box 1 - yellow cylinders:
The adult takes the cylinders out of the box and places them on the table in a disordered manner. He starts with the largest cylinder and places it in front of him. Then she looks for the next smallest one and places it to the right of it. The process continues in this way (in the direction of writing) until the last yellow cylinder. As a demonstration, unsuitable cylinders are of course inserted (the smallest next to the largest ...) to show the child the harmony of the row if the right cylinder has been inserted. After the completion of the introduction, the cylinders are mixed again and given to the child.
Box 2 - green cylinders:
The introduction and exercise are the same as in Box 1. Here we start with the large, flat cylinder.
Box 3 - red cylinders:
The introduction and exercise are the same as in Box 1. Here you start with the thickest cylinder.
Box 4 - blue cylinders:
The introduction and exercise are the same as in Box 1. Here you start with the highest cylinder. The cylinders of each box can also be built up as a tower.
