Instructions for the chain of hundreds and chain of thousands

Hundreds chain:
If possible, the golden pearl material should be available as a supplement.

The adult takes a hundred square from the golden bead material and places it on the table. Underneath, he zigzags the chain of hundreds that also creates a square. Now the hundred square can be placed over the pearl necklace to determine that both are the same size. Then the chain of hundreds is unfolded and counted: That’s ten, that’s twenty ...... that’s a hundred

thousand chain:
The adult lays the chain of hundreds on the table one after the other. The chain of thousands is now laid in zigzag the length of the chain of hundreds so that it becomes visible that the chain of thousands consists of 10 chains of hundreds, or can be broken down into these = 1000 is 10 times 100.
